NIGERIAN ARMY RESCUES 12 KIDNAP VICTIMS IN ENUGU, ARRESTS TWO SUSPECTS

Troops of the Nigerian Army under Operation Eastern Sanity have rescued 12 individuals who were abducted in Ette community, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, following a swift security operation earlier today.According to the Army, the 82 Division received a distress call reporting an ongoing kidnapping in the community. Troops were immediately deployed to the scene, where they encountered signs of the abduction in progress. On sighting the approaching security forces, the suspected kidnappers reportedly fled the area, leaving the victims behind.All 12 victims were rescued unharmed and are currently receiving support from local authorities. In the operation, two suspects were apprehended and are now being interrogated by security personnel to determine their involvement and identify any accomplices.The Army confirmed that patrols continue across the community and surrounding areas to prevent further incidents and ensure the safety of residents.
