JAKE PAUL HOSPITALISED AFTER DEFEAT TO ANTHONY JOSHUA

American YouTuber-turned-boxer, Jake Paul, has been hospitalised after suffering a suspected fractured jaw in his six-round defeat to former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in Miami.
The 28-year-old impressed fans with bravery and aggression but was eventually overpowered by Joshua’s greater size, punching power and experience in the ring.
After the fight, Paul expressed concern that his jaw may have been broken. His promoter, Nakisa Bidarian, confirmed that medical checks were underway and recovery could take four to six weeks.
Despite the injury, Paul maintained a positive outlook, sharing bloody photos and videos from the fight on social media.
“I feel good. It was fun, and I genuinely love this sport,” he said.
Paul said he plans to rest briefly before resuming his boxing career, insisting he still hopes to challenge for a cruiserweight world title.
He admitted fatigue was a major factor against Joshua’s size advantage.
“I got tired trying to manage his size and weight. With better conditioning, I could have lasted longer. I gave it everything.”
Paul, who previously fought as a cruiserweight, said he would return stronger and focus on opponents within his own weight class.
More boxing reactions expected soon.
