DORIS OGALA REPORTEDLY ARRESTED DURING LIVESTREAM AMID ONGOING OKAFOR CONTROVERSY

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly been arrested during a livestream session on Saturday, December 20, 2025, while she was speaking with an online personality.
During the livestream, the interviewer asked Ogala whether police officers were present in her home. Ogala replied:
“Yes, the police are in my house.”
She was also heard addressing someone identified as “Charity,” accusing her of allowing individuals into the house despite previous instructions. The interviewer further asked whether the officers had a warrant and encouraged Ogala to keep her phone on and connected.
The development was later confirmed by comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate Dee One, who announced the alleged arrest via Instagram.
According to him:
“Doris Ogala has just been arrested. I tried to warn her; the allegations did not add up. Now she will have to defend her story in court. Everywhere good, my people.”
Efforts to reach Ogala for comments were unsuccessful, as calls to her phone went unanswered, and WhatsApp messages were not returned at the time of filing this report. Attempts to contact Dee One for additional clarification were also unsuccessful.
The situation comes in the wake of Ogala’s ongoing dispute with cleric Dr Chris Okafor. A response received from a phone number linked to Okafor’s ministry dismissed the circulating claims as false, urging the public to disregard them.
The controversy escalated after Ogala shared a now-deleted post allegedly showing a man identified as Okafor in a private setting, accusing him of dishonesty and claiming to possess video evidence to support her allegations.
The incident follows Okafor’s recent wedding to his new bride, identified as Pearl, which reportedly proceeded despite Ogala’s accusations of emotional manipulation and a broken promise of marriage after an alleged long-term relationship.
In a series of emotional videos shared earlier, Ogala accused Okafor of damaging her life through a relationship she claimed began in 2017. She alleged that she ended her previous marriage at his request and suffered emotional distress after the relationship abruptly ended.
