POLICE RAID CRIMINAL HIDEOUTS, ARREST 193 SUSPECTS IN KANO

The Kano State Police Command has arrested 193 suspects following a series of coordinated raids on criminal hideouts across several parts of the state.

According to police authorities, the operations were carried out based on intelligence reports targeting areas identified as hotspots for armed robbery, drug-related crimes, and other illegal activities.

During the raids, officers recovered dangerous weapons, suspected illicit drugs, and other exhibits believed to be linked to criminal operations.The command stated that the large-scale operation is part of ongoing efforts to disrupt criminal networks, restore public safety, and strengthen security presence across Kano State.

Security officials added that the arrested suspects are currently undergoing screening and interrogation to determine their level of involvement in various offences.Police also confirmed that further operations will continue in identified areas, as part of a sustained crackdown aimed at reducing crime and improving community safety.

Authorities have urged residents to continue providing credible information to security agencies to support ongoing operations.
