OBI VOWS TO DECLARE WAR ON TERRORISTS IF ELECTED PRESIDENT
Peter Obi has said he would adopt a tough security stance against terrorism if elected President of Nigeria, insisting that his administration would not engage in negotiations with armed groups.
Speaking on national security challenges, Obi stated that his approach would focus on decisive military and intelligence operations aimed at dismantling terrorist networks across the country.
He referenced his time as Governor of Anambra State, where he said he implemented effective security strategies that helped improve safety and stability in the state.
According to him, his governance experience provides a blueprint for how insecurity can be tackled at the national level if given the mandate.The remarks come amid ongoing national debates over Nigeria’s security strategy and the handling of insurgent groups.
