The Nigerian Air Force has confirmed the killing of scores of terrorists following a precision air interdiction mission targeting insurgent hideouts in Borno State.The operation was carried out by the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai at Abirma, a known insurgent enclave located in the southern axis of the Lake Chad region.According to a statement released on Wednesday, the mission involved carefully planned strikes on identified terrorist positions, resulting in the destruction of multiple hideouts and a significant number of casualties among the insurgents.Military authorities described the operation as a major success, noting that the targeted location had served as a strategic base for terrorist activities in the region.
